FAQ
How much are membership costs?
Because each treatment plan is customized, monthly costs will vary between patients depending on what needs to be addressed and prescribed. Most patients can expect a cost of around $200 – $250 per month.
What is included in my membership?
Your monthly membership fee includes all doctor consultations, prescriptions, and necessary supplies shipped directly to your home from our compounding pharmacy. Each patient will have direct access to their patient care coordinator to help with any questions or concerns.
What medications are prescribed for treatment?
Because Revv Health provides full-spectrum hormone therapy, we have a large variety of treatment options available for both men and women patients. After the evaluation of your labs, our doctors will discuss all of your symptoms, concerns, and goals to recommend a protocol that fits your needs. We offer injectable, topical, and oral variations of many hormones, along with many other supporting compounds.
Do you accept insurance?
We do not work with insurance companies. We have partnered with some of the top pharmacies and labs in the country to streamline and reduce costs for the patient.
How soon after registering can I do my bloodwork?
Once you have registered and purchased your bloodwork, you will be emailed a copy of your lab requisition form to bring into any Labcorp to complete your blood draw. Please allow up to 48 hours for your lab requisition form to be emailed to you.
How soon after doing my bloodwork can I have my doctor consultation?
Once you complete your bloodwork, a copy of your results will be sent to our doctor for review. This can typically average around 5 – 7 business days. If it is determined that you are a candidate for hormone therapy, we will reach out to schedule your Telehealth appointment with the doctor.
When can I begin treatment?
During your consultation, the doctor will review your lab results with you and outline your recommended treatment protocol. After your consultation you will receive an email with your membership options and costs. Simply reply to this email stating which membership tier you would like to choose and you will be sent a link to complete your membership sign up.
Do you provide testosterone pellet therapy?
We do not offer testosterone pellets simply because of their high cost to the patient and suboptimal results. With pellets, it is very difficult to control the concentration of testosterone being released, and they often provide very inconsistent results. With hormone therapy, we want to mimic the body’s natural cycle as closely as possible. Pellets are designed to slowly release the hormone over a period of 3 – 6 months, which often provides a surge of hormones in the early and middle stages, with a sharp decline towards the end of the cycle, leaving people feeling suboptimal for a period of time until their next pellet is implanted.
Is it safe to do hormone therapy while pregnant or breast feeding?
That’s a great question! Hormone therapy is contraindicated while pregnant and not advisable. It is generally safe during breastfeeding as long as properly monitored and dosing is reasonable.
How much does it cost to get my bloodwork done?
The cost for our initial bloodwork is $200 for men and $225 for women. Our lab panels are extensive and test for a variety of different hormones and health markers. We have negotiated to make our lab panels very affordable for our patients. They would normally cost well over $1,000.
